Dr. Pamela Silver, Licensed Psychologist
I am a Clinical Psychologist who has been in practice for over 30 years. I began my career as a Special Education teacher, and then took a detour to teach English to soldiers in the Israeli Air Force while living abroad. Later, I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, which is a program fully accredited by the American Psychological Association. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the United States Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital in Miami, Florida, where I honed my skills working with veterans of Viet Nam and Desert Storm. I loved my work with veterans!!
My work experience has covered a wide range of settings, including mental health clinics, schools, hospitals, prisons, university settings, the technology industry, public speaking, expert testimony in court, and private practice. I served as the Director of Adult Services at the Nova Southeastern Center for Psychological Studies. In addition, I am an experienced Certified Clinical Supervisor and Parent Coordinator, licensed in both Florida and New York.
I specialize in treatment of adults, adolescents and couples, and provide assessment and treatment of a wide range of mood disorders (such as anxiety and depression) and with both severe, chronic mental illness as well as normal problems in living. I take pride in being responsive to my clients, am reachable by SMS, and strive to return calls within 24 hours. I am dedicated to providing ethical and compassionate services to my clients.
